Tradition has never been Marlena’s preferred way of life. Influenced by her late mother and a sewing machine passed down to her, she taught herself how to sew, guided by intuition, creativity, and heart. Chasing the high of 2000s fashion and playing dress-up in her mother’s closet, a diva was born.
 

What began in her apartment as a creative outlet quickly grew into a full-fledged brand driven by passion, persistence, and a deep love for truly being yourself.
 

Marlena designs, sews, and oversees every aspect of Marmalade Dreams by hand, believing that clothes carry energy when they’re made with intention. With her late mother as a constant influence, Marmalade Dreams is run on the magic of following your dreams despite the odds. She continues to build the brand as a reflection of her journey  one piece at a time.

When not chasing her dreams Marlena can be found rollerskating, probably getting a new tattoo, finding vintage Garfield memorabilia, or with her cats.
